Our Program: Leadership Program
When we asked our parents why they choose to give their child the camp experience, sports was rarely at the top of the list. Rather, we saw words like fun, independence, and relationships. As Directors, we have an incredible opportunity to positively impact your son’s life by focusing on these issues as well as other important values. We know that the values that your son comes home with at the end of the summer are much more important than his accomplishments on the basketball court or in the art room.
Our Leadership Program is designed to teach and reinforce the values that we hold dear. From formal bunk discussions to participation in our annual Morry’s Camp Charity Swim-A-Thon, campers learn to appreciate the significance of these values.
Every Friday night we recognize campers and counselors for demonstrating these important values. Each honored individual is called up in front of the entire camp and receives a Leadership Bracelet. It’s a great feeling to be acknowledged by your peers.
