Visiting Day
Visiting Day starts at 10:30 AM and ends at 3:30 PM. We provide a delicious buffet lunch for everyone, but feel free to bring anything special that your camper may miss from home. Keep in mind that all food, candy, and drinks (except water) will be removed from the bunk the following day. Leaving food in the bunk is an invitation to the animals and bugs to join the party.
While Visiting Day will be chock full of good times, it’s not uncommon for campers to have difficulty saying goodbye. Make sure you remain upbeat and positive and don’t make any pickup deals. Most campers will be back in the swing of things, minutes after you leave.
If there is one thing that you must bring up for Visiting Day, it’s the latest and greatest in water guns. Our traditional end of Visiting Day Water Extravaganza kicks off at exactly 3:30 PM. This great event helps campers to refocus on the fun at camp (and not their parents) and it encourages parents to hit the road. If you stick around till 3:30 PM, you’ll have a long and wet ride home. Everyone is fair game at 3:30 PM…don’t say we didn’t warn you!
